5月18日，张学友为自己新一轮的巡回演唱会在北京召开了一场媒体见面会。继“1/2世纪世界巡回演唱会”之后，歌神张学友即将开启新一轮的“A CLASSIC TOUR 学友-经典世界巡回演唱会”。此次经典之旅于10月开启，分别在内地6个城市相继举办。

这次巡演的第一站是北京，张学友在见面会上说：“有些人可能以为经典演唱会就是要唱老歌，其实我不会去想新歌旧歌，我只是想怎么去呈现，能让现场的效果最好，能让观众感受到现场的新鲜感，所以不会因为经典而全唱老歌，不会刻意的去分配新旧歌的比例。”

The first stop for Jacky Cheung's classic tour is Beijing, where the singer has recently promoted his concert series:"Whether the songs I perform at the upcoming concerts are old or new ones is not included in my consideration. Instead, I focus on the ways how to perform these songs and which parts need to be highlighted through my performances. So in fact, when I planned to arrange the concerts, I hadn't thought too much about the ratio of new songs to old ones."

作为一个时代的象征，几代人的偶像，张学友自1993年首次举办世界巡回演唱会以来，到目前为止，个人巡演踏遍全球累计610余场，唱片累计销量突破6000万张，音乐奖项累计超过260余座。除此之外，张学友的演艺生涯也相当成功，近年的《赤道》和《澳门风云3》都是好评如潮。

“A CLASSIC TOUR 学友-经典世界巡回演唱会”将于10月21日从北京开启，之后再是重庆、广州、上海和武汉。其中，上海站在明年3月还会有3场。
